Officially authorized and certified guides with passion for Book of Mormon geography and Mayan heritage
It is an honor for Alma's LDS Tours Co. to reveal official information controlled and regulated by the Federal Bureau of Tourism (Secretaria de Turismo) which is in charge to validate, authorize and issue credentials to all of our tour guide candidates.
All of our tour guides are officially authorized to work in all archaeological sites in the whole country of Mexico, such as Chichen Itza, Ek Balam, Tulum, Coba, Palenque, Teotihuacan, etc.
All guides hold valid certifications from the Mexican government and are authorized to operate in protected archaeological sites.
All guides are officially certified by the Secretaria de Turismo, Mexico's Federal Bureau of Tourism

Alma's LDS Tours is independently family owned and operated. All our tour guides have passion for the study of old world culture, language, and rituals. Highly trained, they especially enjoy the symbolism of the scriptures. Studies help to show interesting parallels that can be found in the Book of Mormon, the Bible and also in the beliefs of the ancient inhabitants of the Book of Mormon lands by understanding them in their cultural and historical context.
